Candle
Safety
PartyLite
is highly committed to safety, and we recommend
that you follow the steps below
to ensure the maximum enjoyment of our products.
-
NEVER leave a
burning candle unattended!
Always extinguish the flame
before going to sleep or leaving the room.
-
Snuffing
- To prevent wax from spraying
and wicks from drifting off. Centre, use a
candle snuffer to extinguish the flame. Don’t
extinguish candles with water as it may cause
the wax to spatter or holder to break. If
you must blow out a candle, maintain a safe
distance and blow gently to prevent spraying.
-
Metal Clips -
Tealights
and votive candles have a metal clip, called
a sustainer, which is used to hold the wick.
Be sure the wick remains centred, and always
remove the old sustainer before placing a
new votive in a holder.
-
Tealights –
Metal or Clear Cups? -
Aluminium
cups are recommended for closed-type holders
such as tealight houses. Plastic cups can
be used in open holders.
-
Centring
Wicks
-
Wicks
in votives and tealights may have a tendency
to ‘float’ to the sides, particularly
if placed on an uneven surface or near a draught.
To avoid heating or breaking the container,
keep the wick centred. When burning a 3- wick
candle, point the wicks toward the centre
of the candle.
-
Ingredients
–
Candles manufactured and sold by PartyLite

-
Children and Pets

from burning candles.
- Wick-Trimming,
Matches and Other Materials -

-

materials such as curtains. Always burn candles
