Why sell at candle parties?

Parties can be a great addition to your business provided you have the confidence to make it work as explained on the previous page. Party sales boosted my income significantly last year and I will be making them a permanent feature for my local customers.

  Extra ways of selling your items will ultimately result in extra sales!! I had a big boost in monthly sales figures when I started selling through parties.

  It is great ways to target customers that maybe don’t have Internet access or attend craft shows. They will mainly be local customers too which means they are more likely to come back to you and re-order.
  
  
• No overheads
  With a craft show you have your booth fee and the cost of the supplies to make as many of each item as you can possibly take with you. With a party you simply take a selection of display stock and customers order from that. You have no booth fee and no outlay other than the cost of fuel to get you to the party!
  
  
• Set your own hours
  It’s entirely up to you what hours you want to work. You aren’t tied in to a 9-5 and you can pick and choose what days/evenings to work.
  
  
• Work to order
  One of the things that I hate about doing craft shows is working my butt off making candles that I can’t guarantee will sell. With the parties I simply take the customer’s orders and then pour the candles to order.
